the ESTATE

Nestled into the Big Hole Mountains, about one hour drive from Jackson Hole, Wyoming, you will find one of the finest shooting properties for traditional driven shooting in America.

In 2009 Blixt & Co. obtained the exclusive sporting rights at Lazy Triple Creek in Newdale, Idaho. The estate consists of 2,200 aces of wide open vistas and five dramatic canyons, which vary in depth, giving every level of shooter the excitement of challenging shooting, as well as the enjoyment of a great day in the field.

the SHOOT

On the shoot day the team of guns will leave the Lodge in our custom gun wagon, and since the lodge is near the center of the estate, you are only minutes from each drive.

At Lazy Triple Creek Ranch you shoot a no-limit bag, conducted over six drives during the day. Your loader will look after you throughout the day and the thirty man strong beating line will assist the game keeper to drive the birds over the guns.

a day in the FIELD

A typical shoot day begins with an English breakfast prepared by our private chief served with freshly brewed coffee, tea and juices. The Guns then gather and are briefed on safety, as well as the itinerary of the day in the field, before the guns are paired up with their loader. Finally, the traditional drawing of pegs, where the guns draw their peg number for the day. Guns and guests then load into the gun wagon for a short journey to the first drive.

The day consists of four drives in the morning and two in the afternoon, not forgetting breaks for the traditional elevenses (Warm soup and gourmet snacks with plenty of soft drinks available) and lunch in the comfort of our lodge or weather permitting lunch in the field. At the end of the day the Game Keeper will present you with a game card of the day.

the LODGE

The Lodge is a western style log home, which accommodates a line of 8 guns, or 8 couples. The rooms are tastefully decorated, with a western touch, and each room has an on suite bathroom.

During your visit you will be looked after by our private chef and hostess, and they will look after all your needs during your stay at Lazy Triple Creek.
